For each eligible product, the primary user may make one copy for his or her exclusive use on either a portable or home computer. The existence of this secondary home or portable installation must be registered with the Software Management Office, and the software must be removed from the home/portable computer when the primary user ceases employment with Illinois State University.

Eligibility is available for the latest version of the following products if you are currently the primary user of an ISU license of the software and meet the requirements

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Will I be able to find MCA software installed in campus labs?
A. All of the MCA software may be freely installed in any lab on campus just as on faculty and staff computers. Whether any lab chooses to include or omit certain software products will be up to the lab's manager.
Q. Can departments buy computers without an OS and use the MCA to put Windows on them?
A. No. The MCA only includes upgrades, therefore, any new computers must already have some version of Windows operating system on them.
